We are seeking a skilled Overhead Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of commercial door maintenance and repair, including rolling doors, sectional doors, sheet doors, loading dock equipment and pass through swing doors.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Overhead Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of commercial door maintenance and repair, including rolling doors, sectional doors, sheet doors, loading dock equipment and pass through swing doors.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and commercial overhead doors and pass through doors and related components

  • Troubleshoot issues with commercial doors, operators, and hardware related to pass through doors

  • Perform preventative maintenance on doors to ensure optimal functionality

  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

  • Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner

Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and installations

  • Knowledge of electrical systems related to commercial door operations

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes

  • Experience in locks and door hardware for entry door systems

  • Capability for heavy lifting

  • Familiarity with installation and repair of commercial door systems

  • Preferably have overhead fire door and/or AAADM certifications
