The California-based R&S companies began with Robert Smith's service-minded attitude and practical knowledge of the access security industry. Today, R&S Erection of Concord is one of more than 20 independently owned locations throughout California, Oregon and Texas that continues his mission as a leading door, gate, loading dock, and access control installation and repair resource.

Founded in 1981, R&S Erection of Concord has the experience and resources needed to help secure your property. Whether fixing a garage or a gate at a home or installing a roll up door or security grille at a local business, we strive to do quality work at honest prices. It’s how we’ve built our business, and how we plan to continue growing.

As a member of the R&S family of companies, we are part of one of the largest networks of residential, commercial and automatic door and gate dealers in California. We also install and service personnel doors, loading dock equipment and access control systems.

In response to quick growth and increasing demand, R&S began manufacturing its own commercial rolling door products, including service doors, counter doors, fire rated doors and security grilles via R&S Manufacturing, Inc. R&S doors are manufactured in the Bay Area with a four-acre facility in Union City, CA, along with additional distribution centers throughout Southern California and Oregon.
