GATE LOOP INSTALLATION
Gate loops are both a safety feature and an access control option.
They may not look fancy, but they are important. Most types of gate loops use an electromagnetic field to sense the presence of a vehicle. The loops are connected to the gate controller, which opens gates automatically but also prevents them from closing on a vehicle. Installing gate loops is an important step in minimizing the liability of an automatic gate system.
A newer technology than gate loops, certain types of sensors can be used in place of loops for certain applications, which reduces costs by reducing installation time.
One of the main differences to consider between the types of loops is how they are powered and transmit information. Options include:

SAFETY SENSORS
