May Is Garage Door Safety Month!
May is recognized industry wide as Garage Door Safety Month! At R&S Concord, we take pride in keeping our customers and their families safe. We know that garage door safety is important year round, but May gives us an opportunity to highlight and share a few valuable safety tips. The IDA (International Door Association) reminds us all to LOOK. LISTEN. LEARN & REMEMBER:
LOOK - at the garage door, springs, rollers and cables for any noticeable wear and tear.
LISTEN - for any grinding, scraping or unusual sounds.
LEARN - keep the garage door opener and remote control out of reach of children and out of sight, to deter theft.
REMEMBER - if you have any concerns regarding your garage door, call us right away.
If you do notice anything unusual, give us a call so we can send a trained technician to assess the issue. Do not attempt to repair a broken garage door or its parts, as this can be very dangerous!
